Presta is a peer-to-peer tool rental marketplace. We're starting in Joliet, Shorewood, Crest Hill, and Plainfield, and growing from there.
Why Presta exists.
Most of us own tools we barely use. A pressure washer that runs once a summer. A snow blower that earns its keep two days a year. They cost real money, take up garage space, and still need oil changes and tune-ups just to sit there.
Meanwhile, the neighbor two doors down needs that exact tool for a one-day job, or for the storm rolling in this weekend. It's already sitting in a garage on their street. The problem is, asking to borrow it can feel awkward.
Presta removes that friction. It gives neighbors a simple way to rent and share tools locally, so renters get the job done, owners earn from equipment they already have, and more value stays in the community.
I'm Nick, and I live in Joliet.

What you'll see in month one.
To make sure Presta isn't empty on day one, I'm investing my own savings into seed inventory, and running it out of my own garage right here in Joliet.
When you rent in the first few months, a lot of what you'll see is mine, handed off by me. That's not a bug. It's a promise that this place won't be a ghost town when you show up.

As neighbors start listing their own tools, Presta becomes what it's meant to be: a network where the inventory belongs to the community, not the platform.
